Laser Treatments

Laser skin resurfacing is changing faster than any other segment of cosmetic procedures. Skin resurfacing aims to smooth wrinkles, improve texture and pore size, lighten brown spots, and repair sun damage. Resurfacing can be accomplished through the use of chemical peels or lasers. Generally, there is a trade-off between downtime or recovery, risk, and benefit. More aggressive procedures are associated with a longer healing time and an increased risk of complications, yet lead to more dramatic improvement.

CO2 lasers of yesteryear delivered the best results for removing signs of aging and sun damage. Although the results were dramatic, the significant downtime has caused these lasers to fall out of favor. Subsequent lasers and light devices were developed to decrease the risks and downtime as a trade-off for better results. We offer the Pearl treatment for mildly ablative resurfacing. We also offer non-ablative treatments, such as: laser genesis and intense pulse light. We can treat small blood vessels and have several different options for laser hair reduction.
